My designs are for people who love bold colours and exciting patterns and who have individual style (and you’re not afraid to show it!)” – Gudrun Sjoden
Swedish designer Gudrun Sjoden is famous for her colourful clothes and use of natural textiles; she is Sweden's vey own 'eco-warrior.' Whatever age, shape or size you are her clothes will look good on you. Until now Gudrun’s shops have been overseas in Germany, Norway, Sweden and Denmark and now she’s coming to London. I admit I have not bought any of her things yet, but looking at her lines for spring/summer full of flowers and feminine fabrics I think it would be good to inject a bit more colour into my wardrobe. Sjoden's collections include a lot of bold, sometimes clashing, prints and lots of layers - for some people her clothes may be too much of a statement. However, her individual pieces are beautiful paired with simpler pieces. She doesn’t just stop at clothing as home decorations are also her specialty and her linens and decorations look like must-haves for our new uni home. On the 30th March the shop will be opening on 65-67 Monmoth Street, Covent Garden.  With her floral prints and beautiful bold colours Sjoden is coming to England just in time for summer.
