Celebrity Halloween.

Halloween is so close now. I still haven't decided what to dress up as - I'm hoping some of these celeb costumes will give me some inspiration.

Designer Pudsey

Katie Grand, editor-in-chief for LOVE magazine, came up with an idea last year for a Children in Need campaign involving some of the biggest fashion names in the world.
This year it is happening again with designers such as Victoria Beckham, Henry Holland, Versace and Louis Vuitton making 30 unique Pudsey bears to be sold in an auction to raise money for charity. Last year a bear made by Louis Vuitton sold for £36,000!
It seems all the designers put everything they had into it (it's said that Balenciaga had to make theirs while making their spring/summer 2013 show which must have been a frantic time.)
I think it is a really lovely idea and the bears look amazing. I hope they raise a lot of money from the auction which starts this week.

Fashion Princess

Harrods have just released pictures of their Christmas window princesses - this year Harrods is having a Disney Princess window during Christmas time. Some of the biggest names in fashion have designed dresses for each Disney princess to be showcased in the shop windows. I'm excited to see what they will look like in real life.

Miss Biel

Looking on Graziadaily Jessica Biel is glowing in the lead up to her wedding to Justin Timberlake this weekend. She looks gorgeous in white so I wonder what she will look like in her wedding dress. (And that engagement ring is enormous!)

A book full of unseen images of Alexander McQueen's life.
I want it.

"I owe this book to Lee [McQueen] I had no choice really. It was a duty - a matter of trust and radical honesty." ~ Anne Deniau

Wedding fever

Graziadaily.co.uk posted a feature on wedding dresses yesterday in lieu of the fact that the stars all seem to be getting engaged and married recently. I had a little look at some of the dresses they have shown from Autumn/Winter 2012 collections in New York and I have fallen in love with some of them and they all happened to be by Marchesa.

Winter Florals

Florals are still around this season and the winter prints are just as good as the summer ones. Designers such as Viktor & Rolf, Gucci, YSL and many more have taken this trend and done what they want with it to come up with some amazing collections. Below are some of my favourite pieces from the catwalk.

Vuitton

Above shows a scene from Marc Jacobs' show for the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I love the way the escalators were used as part of the runway and the models came down in matching outfits two by two. I wonder how he will top it next season.

Little Black Jacket

Today the Saatchi Gallery in London is opening Chanel's Little Black Jacket Exhibition. It looks well worth a visit. Admission is free and it is running until the 28th October.
The exhibition is showing black and white photographs of Karl Lagerfeld's favourite muses wearing the infamous jacket. The beautiful images below give you a little taste of what there is to see.
