During Paris fashion week Chanel made an impact with crystal cuffs. However, as beautiful as the Chanel ones are fashion fans noticed they are very similar to the ones made by Pamela Love. Normally in the fashion world this would be taken as a norm, everyone takes inspiration from somewhere, and Love's cuffs were last year's. However Chanel took the concerns on board and have respectfully taken the crystal bracelets out of their Autumn/winter 2012 collections for sale. Isn't that a turn up for the books?

Pamela Love's bracelets will be selling for a lot less money than Chanel's so I guess really it's a win-win situation for us fashion fanatics. Before the story of Chanel's little crisis caught my eye I had never really looked at Pamela Love's designs but I have to say I'm falling for it. Chunky statement jewellery covered in crystals? What more could a girl want? For Spring/summer 2012 her collections are colourful, bold and aztec comes to mind. If you want to make a statement with your jewellery Love's pieces are definatly ones to get your hands on. But as most beautiful things are prices are in the hundreds so unless you have a wealthy man girls we better get saving. |
